Double the newborn love.

These beautiful twin girlies made their way into the world on June 25, 2025. Bexley Grace weighing 7 lbs 14 ounces and Kinley Faith weighing 6 lbs. Healthy, full-term, precious little miracles. Congratulations Charlie and Cara! Being welcomed into your home for our newborn session was a glimpse into what a loving and faithful family you are.

Mom is no longer outnumbered in a household full of boys! It is evident though, older brothers, Ledger and Easton are so proud of their new baby sisters and their roles as helpful and protective big brothers.

Getting to know their Mom, Cara, through her twin pregnancy was special. We would watch our boys play baseball and talk all things baby. Coming to as many baseball weekend tournaments as she could, all while simultaneously growing not one, but two tiny humans! Those girls kindly waited until the end of baseball season to make their debut, but only by a few days, and just one day shy of their Daddy’s birthday.

Woven into their story are threads of faith, strength, and love. Ecclesiastes 4:9 “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.” This is the verse Cara’s mom, Cathie, prayed over Cara and Charlie as they walked into the doctor’s office early on in her pregnancy. The appointment was to ensure everything was ok after Cara had some spotting. It seems important to note, at this point they also had no idea she was carrying twins. Cara’s mom was praying about Cara and Charlie being the two, being together, no matter the outcome of the appointment, “Two are better than one”. God certainly heard Cathie’s prayers, but in true fashion, God answers prayers in his own way.

It was THAT doctor’s appointment, in exam room 2, at 2:10pm that Charlie and Cara saw TWO heartbeats, TWO healthy babies, as Cathie had prayed, and God had written – “Two are better than one”. A testament to this family’s faith that gives me chills, every time.

Kinley needed a little extra time in the NICU, but she grew stronger every day and after almost two weeks she was released to come home! It was only fitting that we celebrated with a newborn session and oh how sweet it was.

Beautiful. Little. Miracles.
